1) How do I book a saltwater fishing trip aboard the Lucky Lady? Call or email Capt. Steve Palmer. You can reach him on his cell at 860-573-3751 -or- (401) 284-2869. E-mail link/address is Capt_Steve@sbcglobal.net . Early reservations are recommended and a $100.00 deposit will hold your date ($200.00 deposit for offshore trips). Capt. Steve will call two nights before your trip with the latest weather, fishing report, tides and best departure time. Fishing season starts in May and continues through October. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure time. Trip hours include travel and fish cleaning time. Call or write for a free color brochure.
2) How do I get to the Lucky Lady at Channel Marina in Rhode Island? Take Route 1 to the Snug Harbor/Jerusalem Exit. Go 0.5 miles to Gooseberry Lane on your left. Go to end of Gooseberry just PAST Snug Harbor Marina. Channel Marina parking is on your left and the dock is across the street between two cottages. Lucky Lady is in last slip of main dock, slip #11.Extra weekend parking is available at Snug Harbor Marina. Internet users can use Map Quest or Google Map and enter 575 Gooseberry Road, Wakefield, RI 02879.
3) What should I bring? Remember to bring your lunch and cold drinks packed on ice in a cooler. Dress in layers with the plan to take some off as the day warms. Remember to bring sun block and a camera. Wear soft soled sneakers or deck shoes. Your cooler can be used to bring home the professionally prepared fillets. Ice and food are available at Snug Harbor Marina just a short walk from Lucky Lady. Sea sickness can be avoided, get a good nights sleep and don't eat a greasy breakfast. Beer in moderation is allowed.
4) What is the cancellation policy? A
two week notice is required to cancel a trip. If another date cannot be arranged
your deposit will be refunded. Weather cancellations will be made by the Captain
and the trip re-scheduled or deposit returned.
